Terms of Service | Steadbase

1. Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all services provided by Steadbase GmbH ("Steadbase") through the website steadbase.ai. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Steadbase provides a cloud-based platform for maintenance, asset and inventory management as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). The specific scope of services depends on your chosen plan (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise).

3. Registration and Contract

The contract is established upon registration on our platform. For paid plans, the contract becomes effective upon successful payment processing via Stripe. You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to use our services.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in Euros, exclusive of applicable VAT. Billing occurs monthly or annually in advance, depending on the chosen billing period. Payments are processed via Stripe.

5. Term and Cancellation

Paid subscriptions automatically renew for the respective billing period unless cancelled before expiration. Cancellation is possible at any time via the Stripe customer portal or by emailing billing@steadbase.ai.

6. Availability (SLA)

Steadbase targets 99.9% availability (Pro plan: 99.99%). Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance and does not count as downtime. Enterprise customers are subject to individual SLA agreements.

7. Data Security and Privacy

Steadbase is committed to protecting your data in accordance with GDPR. For details, please refer to our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you store on our platform.

8. Liability

Steadbase is fully liable for intentional misconduct and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages arising from the breach of material contractual obligations. Liability for data loss is limited to the typical recovery effort assuming proper data backup.

9. Changes to Terms

Steadbase reserves the right to modify these Terms with 30 days prior notice. Changes will be communicated via email. If you do not object within 30 days, the modified Terms are considered accepted.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is, to the extent legally permissible, the registered office of Steadbase.
